Winning kids to Christ and growing them spiritually is what we are all about at Asbury!  It is important for every person to understand that we are commanded by Jesus Himself to "go and make disciples..."  If you have not made a decision for Jesus to be in your life, then check this out!  If you already have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ then share Him with someone else.  Below is just ONE way to share Jesus.

Asking Jesus Into Your Heart is as simple as ABC!

A - Admit to God the Father that you are a sinner
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"   Romans 3:23
"The wages of sin is death"    Romans 6:23

Everyone has done things to make God the Father unhappy.  That's called sin.  Because God the Father is perfect and holy, He cannot allow sin into his presence.  So we have to do something to get rid of our sin.  But how? (God provided a way)


B - Believe in Jesus who is God the Son 
"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners,
 Christ died for us."  Romans 5:8
"I (Jesus) am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father buty through Me."  John 14:6

Jesus who is God in human form, came down from heaven and died on a cross to take away all of our sins.  He took the punishment Himself for all of our sins.  Because God the Father loves you so much and wants you to live with Him forever, He provided the way.  He died so that we could live.  Just think of God Himself loving us so much that He would come in the form of a human, suffer on a cross so that you could choose to be with Him for eternity.    


 C - Confess Jesus is God and commit your life to following Him.
"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised     
 him from the dead, you will be saved."   Romans 10:9
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."   Romans 10:13

Tell God the Father that you're sorry for the wrong things that you've done.  Tell Him that you believe He came to earth in human form and died on a cross just for you.  Tell Him that you want to live with Him forever and be more like Jesus everyday.  When you do this (and mean it) then you have asked Jesus into your heart and you are forgiven (saved) from all the things you have done wrong and all the things that you will do wrong.  Now God the Holy Spirit will come and live inside of you to always direct your steps to follow Jesus.

Pray: "Dear God the Father, thank you for making a way for us to turn from the wrong things that we have done. I know I have done wrong things.  I want to look upon Jesus so that He will forgive me for the things I have done.   I believe Jesus died for me.  Please  Jesus come into my heart, to live with me forever. I want to live forever in Your presence. Thank you for loving me, and thank you for sending God the Holy Spirit to live inside of me so that He will guide me to live for You. Thank you, In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen."

Now its time to have a party! All the angels in heaven are celebrating because you have chosen to follow Jesus -- the most important decision of your life!
